| |    | | CIRCULAR LINER TANKS Our range of liner type tanks offer an economic alternative to other tanks in this brochure. These tanks are suitable for fire water storage, station or property use, town water supply - potable water, agriculture, aquaculture, process, trade waste or marine waste.
All liners used are rated for use with potable water, AS4020.
These tanks are designed and manufactured from galvanised sheeting, pre-punched for easy erection. Horizontal circular stiffening is by galvanised angle hoop type rings.
The liner is full height, with overlap and secured on the top edge of each tank with eyelets. The tank is erected with external upright angle supports and double row bolted lap joints on a concrete ring or slab and, the inner tank floor comprises compacted sand.
This ensures smooth finish to the inside walls and floor of the tank.
Geotextile underlay is fitted to the underside of the liner for additional protection.
Liners can be supplied to offer up to a 10 year warranty. (Based on application).
| |    | | CIRCULAR GASKET TANKS Tanks comprise of: Wall and floor sheets in Galvabond G2 Z275 to AS1397, prefabricated panels, steel framework hoops, cleats, internal/external ladders and extended hand rails are hot dip galvanised.
All bolts are High Tensile, Grade 8.8 and are mechanically galvanised steel.
“Malthoid” damp course membrane is layered between tank floor and foundation.
Gasket material between all sheet joints are PVC High Density Foam, with a minimum thickness of 6mm and all sealants are high strength Polyurathane elastomer, suitable for potable water.
The roof is low pitch construction with Galvabond open web beams, purlins and brackets, including a 600mm square manhole, cover and safety platform. Roof materials are Dualclad Zincalume sheets, fastened with "Tek Screws".
The tank level indicator is a “ball float” type, black numbers and red letters against a white background, “E” for empty at the top and “F” for full at the bottom. Indicator backing board and brackets are fabricated of colorbond steel, mounted to the side of the tank.
All pipe work penetrations are cleaned and sealed with a protective coating, all flanged pipework connections to the tank are fastened with galvanised steel bolts and nuts. A lockable safety cage and intermediate platform is provided on each tank, where the tank height is 6.0m or above, to AS1657.
Tank Foundations The tank is erected on a reinforced concrete ring beam to the tank manufacturers design and is based on the provided site soil report.
The internal area of the ring beam, is filled and compacted to a depth as required by the relevant Australian Standards.
